HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. At the HVDC Cybersecurity function team we ensure and improve a high level of cybersecurity across HVDC, in our projects and service agreements we are also responsible for our strategic cybersecurity initiatives, including the Cybersecurity Certification program (IEC 62443 & others), organizational compliance programs, and cybersecurity projects. For this position, we are looking for a collaborative, teamwork-oriented doer with a strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to share expertise. To excel in this position, you will need to understand the Cybersecurity trends and work proactively to be one step ahead. How you´ll make an impact Using your system and cybersecurity knowledge, you will help the other engineers in our projects to fulfill their responsibilities and help to align our cybersecurity base solution in tender works. Support the Cybersecurity Engineers in their day-to-day activities. Be part of the Cybersecurity Architecture team, that is focusing on streamlining all different cybersecurity topologies. As Cybersecurity Lead Engineer you will be able to answer most questions in a tender, including suggested changes from a legal perspective. Your background You can demonstrate mastery of 62443-Framework in daily application and have knowledge of at least one other framework or regionally appropriate regulation. Knowledge of one or more information security laws. Knowledge of NIS-directive and the ISO 27001 You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond. Execute project activities according to base time schedule and targets. Define resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across various technical disciplines. Your background As a Project Manager you are structured, open-minded and communicative. Proven working experience in relevant field e.g. within HVDC Project Management, Cybersecurity, or similar. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or have equivalent work experience. As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluency in English is required. Swedish is strongly preferable for collaboration with local stakeholders. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal. You are a curious person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous development in both short and long term. Cybersecurity Engineering Manager HVDC

At HVDC our Cybersecurity function is split into two teams. You will be heading the Engineering part of the Cybersecurity function with our Project Cybersecurity Leads, Engineers and Risk Assessment Engineers. They are deeply involved in project execution, tendering and other various development activities. Your task is to support, guide, strengthen and empower the team and you will work with other managers across HVDC to ensure the right and relevant tasks and Divisions of Work for the team Your Responsibilities Support the team in their day-to-day activities. Ensure relevant involvement in all projects at HVDC (Customer and R&D). Ensure the team has all the tools and applications needed to support the tasks. Participating in Project Reviews were necessary. As Cybersecurity Engineering manager you will be able to answer most questions regarding Technology, best-practice, Laws, Standards and Directives. For ongoing tenders, you will be involved in contractual and legal discussions for cybersecurity related questions together with our contract managers and legal specialists and counsels. Your background You have documented experience from leading positions such as team leader and/or Project Management. Knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure regulations such as NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP. Knowledge regarding one or more protective security laws such as the Swedish Protective Security Act, National Security Act (UK) and more. Knowledge and experience from cybersecurity/information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST CSF, You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.
