At Qred, we’re building the world's best bank for small businesses. Since launching 11 years ago, we’ve grown from startup to profitable fintech scale-up, now generating over 1 billion SEK in annual revenue and supporting 50,000+ entrepreneurs across Northern Europe. We combine smart technology, real data, and human judgment to make financing simple, fast, and fair. With bold growth plans and strong momentum across multiple markets, we’re now looking for a React Native Developer for the next phase of growth. About the Role You will own the mobile product experience end-to-end, making real decisions about how a shared codebase should be structured, not just building features inside one. You’ll be working cross-functionally across mobile, web, and design, and your mission is to build robust features that power our rapid global expansion. Key responsibilities Build and maintain high-performance, cross-platform (iOS, Android, web) features in our unified codebase for cross-market deployment. Ensure code quality through continuous testing, code reviews, and robust software architecture practices. Drive the implementation of AI frameworks and automated agents to shift our platform toward an agentic-first operating model. Optimize app performance and maintain strict security standards across high-volume financial systems. Use tools to monitor stability and product usage, and act on what they surface. Translate customer needs and UX designs into seamless, scalable frontend components. What we’re looking for You bring a structured, quality-driven approach to mobile architecture and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take full accountability for your code, enjoy collaborating within cross-functional teams, and actively look for ways to optimize delivery through modern technology. Qualifications Several years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-level React Native applications, ideally including Expo. Proven background taking architectural ownership of mobile application frameworks. Strong TypeScript fluency; comfort with Redux Toolkit/RTK Query or an equivalent state-management approach. Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit/integration + E2E) and a disciplined code review practice. Professional fluency in English with strong cross-functional communication skills. Why Qred? This is the place to be if you’re looking for a place to grow. Qred is growing fast, and our Qredsters along with it. With a non-bureaucratic organization and delegated responsibilities, we make sure there’s a short path from idea to action. In addition to our great culture, you get to work with the latest cutting-edge techniques, full ownership, and last but not least a bunch of great competent colleagues to learn from! One Last Thing This is a full-time, permanent position based in our headquarters in Stockholm. We believe our culture thrives when we work together, which is why we have an office-first approach. To balance this with some flexibility, we have the option of working remotely one day per week. We review applications on a rolling basis and while the start date is flexible, the right candidate can join us immediately. Qred celebrates diversity and does not discriminate based on ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability status, or any other applicable characteristics protected by law. #LI-JL1

Governance & Enablement: Provide compliant, user-friendly access to data across various tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, or AI-powered BI assistants). Empower users of all technical levels — including AI agents — to find, understand, and securely query the data they need. Own the data access lifecycle end-to-end, balancing self-service efficiency with security, privacy, and compliance requirements. Maintain clear documentation and metadata (data catalog, definitions, lineage, ownership). Optimization & Agile Delivery: Continuously evaluate and improve data models for performance and scalability. Contribute to agile ways of working, participating in planning, refinement, and delivery cycles. Stay current with emerging tools and practices in the data stack (e.g. orchestration, observability, AI-assisted development) and help the team adopt what is genuinely useful. What we do here shapes whether customers can pay in a way that actually works for them, and whether we protect them from taking on debt they can’t handle. It’s a dual responsibility, and we take both sides seriously. We’re rebuilding the next generation of this system from the ground up, designed to handle a significant increase in transaction volumes as we scale. Part of what you’ll lead is making this platform ready to operate beyond the Nordics, so the architectural decisions you make now will need to hold up across multiple markets. We’re in the early stages of exploring how AI can help us make better credit and fraud decisions, and we’re honest that this is genuinely complex territory. Credit is one of the most regulated areas when it comes to AI: explainability, fairness, and auditability aren’t optional. We want someone who finds that complexity interesting, not someone who pretends it isn’t there. What you will do You’ll own the technical direction of the team and write production-grade .NET yourself, not occasionally, but regularly. You’ll make architectural decisions you can defend, drive performance and scale from the start, and treat observability and decision traceability as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts. Credit and fraud touch nearly everything at Qliro, which means you’ll work across a wide range of stakeholders: product, risk, compliance, other engineering teams. You’ll be the person who can hold a technical position in a room full of people with competing priorities, make a call under ambiguity, and bring clarity when there’s none. You’ll understand the regulatory and compliance landscape well enough to know what constraints you’re building within. You’ll set others up to succeed. Not in a formal, structured way, but in the way that actually matters: sharing hard-won knowledge, asking the right questions, and making the engineers around you better at their craft. What you'll bring to the team You’ve led technical work on systems where getting it wrong had real consequences, ideally in credit, fraud, risk, or payments, or in a high-transaction financial environment where you’ve developed that instinct. You’re comfortable operating in a heavily regulated environment and understand that compliance constraints aren’t obstacles to good engineering, they’re part of it. You understand that in this domain, correctness matters as much as speed, and you build accordingly. You’ve driven platform transformations before, not just worked on greenfield projects. You know what it means to move away from one system while keeping it running, and you bring the mindset to finish that job rather than work around it. You have opinions about what good looks like, production-grade code, observable systems, sensible tradeoffs and you’re not precious about being challenged on them. You’re comfortable being the one who decides when there’s no perfect answer, and you’re open to being wrong. You don’t wait for a perfect spec to start thinking. How we work Engineering ownership here is real. Engineers make calls that matter and are trusted to defend them. How your team works day to day — how often you’re in the office, how you structure your time — is something teams decide for themselves. We’re based in Stockholm, but we’ve found that trusting teams to figure out their own rhythm works better than a company-wide policy. Does this sound like your next role? What are you waiting for - apply now! Qliro is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to gender, gender identity or expression, national origin, religion or other beliefs, disability, sexual orientation or age.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI As an Engineering Manager at Voi, you will lead and grow a cross-functional product team while staying close to the code. This role is ideal for a strong technical lead ready to take a first step into people management – someone who wants to shape team culture, support engineers’ growth, and drive delivery without leaving their technical roots behind. Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (for example modern code assistants) and a genuine interest in agentic engineering workflows. You lean into these tools and help your team build the skillset to use them effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate both technical and cross-functional conversations with ease. Fluency in English, written and spoken. Don’t meet every requirement?
