Arbetsuppgifter Utbildningen består av 8 utbildningsmoduler; Modul 1: Data as a Product - Denna modul fokuserar på konceptet Data Products och hur man definierar krav genom Impact Mapping. Du får en introduktion till ägarskap, leveransmodeller och hur din specifika roll som Data Engineer ser ut i detta ekosystem. Modul 2: Data Platform Architecture - Här går vi igenom arkitekturen för en modern dataplattform och dess viktigaste komponenter. Modulen ger en översikt över vanliga teknologival som Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Fabric och Google Cloud, samt konceptet kring Data Warehouse och strukturell lagerhantering. Modul 3: Storing and Transforming Data - Denna del behandlar olika databastyper, från relationella databaser till NoSQL och kolumnbaserade format som Parquet och Delta Lake. Du får lära dig hela flödet för datalagring, vilket inkluderar ingestion, historisk arkivering, transformering och processning. Modul 4: Data Modeling - En djupdykning i grundläggande datamodellering med ett särskilt fokus på Dimensional Modeling. Modulen ger en praktisk förståelse för hur man bygger upp och strukturerar dimensions- och faktatabeller. Modul 5: Programming - Här ligger fokus på de centrala programmeringsspråken och verktygen för transformation. Du kommer att arbeta med SQL och Python, samt introduceras till moderna transformationsverktyg som dbt, SQLMesh och Python-baserade notebooks. Modul 8: Using Data - Utbildningen avslutas med hur data faktiskt omsätts i praktiken för att skapa affärsvärde.
