In the position as Simulation engineer you will:Propose future engine concept by doing simulation studies in different stages of the development work with input from projects and other stakeholders. Knowledge of surface treatment methods and applications is considered an advantage. Preferred skills and experiences: Design for volume manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA) and GD&T. Material and process expertise - plastic design, molding and casting processes, and metal machining. Understanding of dynamic forces, such as recoil loads. Experience with PLM systems and FEM analyses. Cross-functional experience within areas such as electromechanics, optics, testing, and quality. Industry-specific merits - knowledge of weapon systems; competitive shooting, hunting or military.
