Om tjänsten: I rollen får du arbeta med avancerade produkter och system i en verksamhet som befinner sig i en spännande tillväxtfas och samtidigt satsar på att stärka sin konstruktionskompetens i Stockholm. I rollen arbetar du i gränslandet mellan elektronik och mekanik, med fokus på konstruktion och integration av exempelvis kretskort, kablage, elektroniklådor och annan elektronisk utrustning. En stor del av arbetet sker i CAD och innefattar bland annat design, 3D-modellering samt framtagning av ritningar och konstruktionsunderlag. Du arbetar vanligtvis i flera projekt parallellt och får därmed en varierad vardag med olika produkter och tekniska utmaningar. Samtidigt blir du en del av ett kompetent team där du samarbetar med flera olika ingenjörsdiscipliner och får goda möjligheter att fortsätta utvecklas inom konstruktion. Arbetsuppgifter: I rollen kommer du bland annat att: Arbeta med konstruktion och mekanisk integration av elektronik Utveckla konstruktionslösningar för exempelvis kretskort, kablage och elektroniklådor Arbeta med CAD, design och 3D-modellering Ta fram och vidareutveckla ritningar och tekniska konstruktionsunderlag Arbeta med installation och placering av elektronisk utrustning i större system Lösa tekniska konstruktionsutmaningar tillsammans med andra ingenjörsdiscipliner Samarbeta med konstruktörer och andra tekniska kompetenser inom organisationen Arbeta i flera utvecklingsprojekt parallellt och vid behov bidra i förstudier och innovationsarbete Vi söker dig som:Har en kandidat- eller masterexamen inom exempelvis maskinteknik, mekanik, elektroteknik eller motsvarande tekniskt område Har minst 2–3 års relevant arbetslivserfarenhet inom konstruktion Har erfarenhet av CAD, design och/eller 3D-modellering Har erfarenhet av eller god förståelse för konstruktion där elektronik och mekanik möts Behärskar svenska och engelska väl i tal och skrift, då båda språken används i det dagliga arbetet Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av elektromekanisk konstruktion eller mekanisk integration av elektronik, exempelvis arbete med kretskort, kabeldragning, elektroniklådor eller liknande. Erfarenhet av CATIA är också meriterande, men inget krav. Har du goda konstruktionskunskaper och erfarenhet från andra relevanta CAD-verktyg finns möjlighet att lära dig den specifika miljön på plats. Personliga egenskaper: För att trivas och lyckas i rollen tror vi att du har ett stort tekniskt intresse och motiveras av att lösa konstruktionsrelaterade utmaningar. Du är självgående och tar ansvar för ditt arbete, samtidigt som du uppskattar att samarbeta med andra för att hitta bra tekniska lösningar. Vidare ser vi att du är noggrann, kvalitetsmedveten och nyfiken med en vilja att fortsätta utvecklas inom ditt tekniska område. About the role As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a key role in both sustaining and modernizing our existing portfolio of analytical instruments used in the food and grain industries. This senior-level role involves working across the entire product lifecycle – from R&D and development to implementation in production and long-term sustaining. You will be responsible for implementing technical improvements, managing component end-of-life (EOL), and ensuring regulatory compliance. The products are technically complex, requiring a solid foundation in electronics and a strong understanding of how hardware and software interact. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with instruments and circuit boards in a lab environment, collaborating closely with colleagues in software, mechanics, and product management. Work tasks Drive modernization and technical upgrades of existing products. Manage the full product lifecycle, including sustaining, EOL handling, and production support. Develop and update electronic circuit boards with digital and analog components (e.g., carrier boards, DC-DC converters, motor drivers, AD converters, LED drivers). Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Perform debugging and repairs at the PCBA level using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other lab tools. Participate in verification and documentation for production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, applications, and product management. Contribute to basic firmware development, with or without RTOS. We are looking for Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Proven experience in PCBA design from concept to volume production. Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar eCAD tools. Strong hardware debugging skills. Ability to produce test and verification documentation for production. Experience with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, USB, UART, DisplayPort, HDMI, Ethernet, SATA, MODBUS. Solid understanding of EMC, ESD, and electrical safety standards. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Meriting qualifications: Experience with opto-electronics, microcontrollers, digital signal processing, and embedded systems. Experience with FPGA. Experience in cable and connector selection. Ability to lead smaller projects. Background in larger organizations or manufacturing industries. Swedish language skills.
