Tech Lead
About Evora Labs Evora Labs develops technology for the operation, integration, and management of battery energy storage systems and other distributed energy assets. Our platform helps energy asset owners integrate assets, achieve market readiness, maintain operational availability, and manage technical requirements across energy markets and grid services. About the role As Tech Lead, you will own the technical direction and day-to-day engineering of the Evora platform: the cloud backend, the operator frontend, the EMS edge software that runs at battery sites, and the infrastructure that connects them. You will work close to real assets. The code you write reads Modbus registers from live battery systems, runs prequalification tests against the Swedish TSO's technical requirements, ingests Nordic and continental market data, and dispatches setpoints that a safety envelope on the edge is the last line of defense for. The position combines hands-on full-stack development, system architecture, ownership of the edge and integration layer, technical leadership of a small team, and continuous translation of field experience from live BESS projects into the product. Key responsibilities - Own the architecture and technical roadmap of the Evora platform across backend, frontend, edge, and cloud infrastructure. - Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, asyncpg, Alembic) on top of TimescaleDB, Redis, and MQTT. - Develop and maintain the EMS edge software: Modbus and vendor-protocol drivers, register maps, control loops, safety envelope, and store-and-forward telemetry over AWS IoT Core. - Build operator-facing product in the Next.js and React frontend: fleet monitoring, asset and site management, the visual workflow builder, dashboards, and market explorers. - Own the prequalification engine that drives FCR-N, FCR-D, FFR, aFRR, and mFRR test programs, validates the response against TSO technical requirements, and produces the evidence and application values. - Integrate battery management systems, power conversion systems, meters, inverters, EV chargers, and heat pumps through Modbus, vendor cloud APIs, and gateway hardware. - Build and operate the market-data pipelines (ENTSO-E, Svenska kraftnät, Nord Pool style sources) that feed spot, ancillary, and forecast views. - Extend the platform's agent layer: LLM-driven operations assistants, morning briefings, diagnosis and remediation workflows, and the AI workflow builder, using Claude on AWS Bedrock. - Run the AWS infrastructure with Terraform: EC2, IoT Core, ECR, S3, IAM, and the CI/CD pipeline that ships backend images and the Vercel-hosted frontend. - Keep the full-system test suite (app, broker, edge, database) green and extend it as the control loop grows. - Support commissioning of live BESS sites together with the operations and prequalification team, and investigate communication, control-system, and data issues in the field. - Set engineering standards for code review, testing, migrations, observability, and documentation, and grow the team as Evora scales. - Contribute technical expertise in customer discovery, partner integrations, and pre-sales discussions. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has built and operated production software end to end and who is comfortable going from a battery's register map to a React component in the same day. You should have: - University degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Several years of professional experience building and operating backend systems in Python, preferably with FastAPI or a similar async framework. - Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, and experience with time-series data at scale (TimescaleDB, continuous aggregates, compression, partitioning). - Experience building modern web frontends with TypeScript and React, preferably Next.js. - Experience with industrial or IoT communication: Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT, or comparable protocols, and with software that runs on edge devices or gateways. - Experience running software on AWS or a comparable cloud, including infrastructure as code (Terraform), containers, and CI/CD. - Ability to read technical documentation, device specifications, and grid or market requirements, and turn them into working, tested software. - Experience leading technical work: setting architecture, reviewing code, and mentoring engineers. Meritorious experience It is considered an advantage if you have experience with: - Battery energy storage systems, EMS, BMS, PCS, meters, or other distributed energy resources. - Nordic ancillary-service markets and prequalification for FCR, aFRR, mFRR, or FFR. - Electricity-market data sources such as ENTSO-E, Svenska kraftnät, or Nord Pool. - LLM-based applications, tool-calling agents, or AI-assisted operational tooling. - Workflow or orchestration engines (Temporal or similar) and event-driven architectures. - Federated learning or privacy-preserving analytics on distributed data. - Edge hardware, balena or similar fleet management, and cellular gateways. - Full-system or hardware-in-the-loop testing of control systems. Personal profile You are technically hands-on and enjoy owning a system from the field device up to the user interface. You work systematically, write code that others can read and test, and are comfortable investigating problems that span hardware, communications, databases, and user-facing product. What we offer You will join Evora Labs at an early stage and take a central role in shaping how distributed energy assets are integrated, qualified, and operated through software. The position provides the opportunity to work across the whole stack, from Modbus registers on a battery site to market participation and AI-assisted operations, and to set the technical direction of a growing engineering team. The role is based in Stockholm.

Senior Engineer
Klarna, briefly Klarna is a global digital bank and payments network. As of our Q1 2026 results: 119 million active consumers, over a million merchants, 26 markets, 3.4 million transactions a day. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange. About the role Being an engineer at Klarna means building and owning the systems that move money for millions of people — and that responsibility doesn't end when those systems ship. Your team and your focus can also change as the business changes, and the domain you join may look different in a year. Either way, this stays a hands-on role: you're still writing code, still making architecture calls, still in the codebase, and your influence comes from the quality of that work and the engineers you work most closely with. We are searching for someone who brings expertise that changes what we are capable of. You've built something we haven't. You've gone deep somewhere we haven't been yet. The engineers here are strong; what they don't have is your specific experience, and that's exactly the gap we're hiring into. What you'll do Make sound, defensible technical decisions, and be able to say clearly what you decided against and why. Think past your own contribution: how it fits the wider architecture, where failures propagate, what breaks first under load, and who feels it downstream. Tie technical choices to business outcomes and size the solution to the problem's actual value - including when the right answer is something small. Design for the constraints that come with being a regulated bank - reliability, auditability, controls - and treat them as part of the engineering problem rather than an obstacle to it. Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams. You act as a multiplier and elevate the people and teams around you, not just your own output. Set the standard for how your domain uses AI in everyday practice - not as a demo, as a working method. Who you are You bring a capability Klarna doesn't have today. Your experience doesn't just improve what's already there - it unlocks something new entirely. You have built and operated systems with real reliability and performance demands at scale, a plus if in Java, JavaScript, or Python environments. You make trade-offs and can articulate the roads not taken. You optimize for business outcomes over engineering elegance, and you know the difference between right-sizing and gold-plating. You explain complex systems clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike. You lead through your work, not your title. You're comfortable with ambiguity and can move an initiative forward across several teams without formal authority over any of them. You have scar tissue and you talk about it - the incident, the design that didn't survive contact with production, what you changed afterwards. Things you should know before applying Working together: We value co-located teams; most teams currently meet in the office 2–3 days per week, and this varies by team and can change over time. Non-obvious backgrounds are welcome. Diversity of skills, perspectives and backgrounds is how we create, innovate, and disrupt like no other. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. This is a general Lead Engineer opening, not tied to one fixed team. Depending on need at the time of hiring, you could be placed in one of several domains. A domain is a group of teams working on a related set of problems — for example, everything to do with risk, or everything to do with checkout. Please include a CV in English. Concrete beats comprehensive — what you built, what it did, what it cost.
Senior Full Stack Engineer (Consultant)
About the Role We're looking for a senior engineer who can hit the ground running in complex client environments and bring both technical depth and delivery ownership to the table. You'll be embedded with clients across fintech, insurance, SaaS, and enterprise software — leading backend architecture, driving frontend quality, and mentoring the engineers around you. This is a hands-on role. We need someone who writes production code, makes architectural calls, and communicates trade-offs clearly to both engineers and stakeholders. What You'll Do • Design and build scalable, cloud-native applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React • Architect backend services using NestJS, GraphQL, and microservices patterns on AWS • Lead database design and optimization across PostgreSQL and Redis • Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments • Work across async messaging layers (Kafka, SQS) in distributed system contexts • Build and maintain real-time communication features using WebRTC and peer-to-peer protocols • Consult directly with client engineering leads on architecture and delivery strategy • Collaborate across US and Nordic client teams, navigating time zones, communication styles, and delivery expectations • Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to technical standards across the team What We're Looking For • 5+ years in full stack development with a polyglot background (TypeScript/JavaScript, C#/.NET, SQL) • Strong command of Node.js backend frameworks, particularly NestJS • React expertise at scale, including performance optimization and component architecture • Solid AWS depth: Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, SQS, and ideally ECS or EKS • Hands-on experience with WebRTC and real-time communication systems in production • Proven track record working with US-based clients or teams in an embedded or consulting model • Familiarity with Nordic engineering culture and workplace norms — direct communication, flat hierarchies, delivery autonomy • Comfort owning delivery in a consulting or embedded team model — not just executing tickets • Clear written and verbal communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have • Experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain/LangGraph) • Familiarity with agentic development workflows or spec-driven delivery approaches • C#/.NET background for legacy system contexts • Prior exposure to regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or telecom Why This Role You'll work across real product teams, not just maintenance accounts. We run lean embedded teams with clear accountability, and we give experienced engineers room to shape how work gets done — not just what gets built. Our client base spans the US and Nordics, so you'll bring cross-market perspective that most candidates simply don't have.

You’ll work closely with the team to evolve the product, review code across our distributed team and help drive the transition of the project and migrating things onto Engage. You’ll spend your first months learning the existing solution, collaborating with our engineering team in India and gradually taking ownership of larger parts of the frontend. Over time, you’ll become one of the main technical owners of the OSM frontend and continue building new capabilities as the product evolves. Who you are We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who enjoys building performant frontend applications while understanding how they interact with scalable backend systems. You don’t need experience from our exact technology stack, but we believe you’ve worked with several of the following: Modern frontend development using JavaScript and TypeScript Frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular or similar (experience with Aurelia is a bonus) Fullstack development with experience working in backend services when needed, ideally in C#/.NET or similar languages Public-facing, high-traffic web applications where performance, security and scalability matter Cloud platforms — we run some of our services on Azure, and some on AWS, including Lambda for our backend services Modern frontend tooling, build pipelines and component-based architectures We also think you: care about clean, maintainable and high-quality code enjoy giving thoughtful and constructive code reviews are curious about performance optimization and frontend architecture communicate well across teams and cultures thrive in collaborative environments with shared ownership use AI coding tools as a natural part of software development and know how to review AI-assisted code with the same care as any other contribution High Impact. Great People. Real Growth. You’ll join a company with strong momentum, modern technology, and a collaborative culture where ideas and initiatives are encouraged. At Voyado, we care about creating an environment where people can grow, collaborate, and enjoy the journey together. Making it personal with AI We believe you’ll position yourself best for success in the interview process by being yourself, with support from AI where it makes sense. There is no such thing as a perfect candidate; we’re all human, so please bring your authentic self. Don’t let AI over-polish your CV or answers to the point where we can’t hear your real voice, because that’s what we care about most.

We work from the office because we think it makes us better, especially at this stage. If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading. Because honestly, it’s not a role for everyone. Small team, high responsibility We hire carefully. We’re not a company that grows by adding headcount everywhere, we grow by keeping the bar high and building a team where every person matters. This isn’t a place where you disappear into a big org. If you join, you’ll have real influence on what we build and how we build it. What you’ll do You’ll take a leading role in building and evolving our mobile applications across iOS and Android. Building and shipping new mobile features in React Native. Designing reusable components and scalable mobile architecture. Collaborating closely with design to deliver polished, accessible user interfaces. Tech stack: Mobile: React Native, TypeScript, Apollo Client (GraphQL) Backend you'll work closely with: Node.js/Express, GraphQL Federation, PostgreSQL, Redis Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions Product tooling: Storybook, GrowthBook How we think about building We’re pragmatic. We like speed, but we also care about building things that last. AI is already part of how we build and not an aspiration. We use Claude, OpenAI, and Mistral in our product, and we expect our engineers to actively explore how AI tooling removes friction from day-to-day work: in code review, test writing, and prototyping. We're looking for someone who sees AI as an amplifier of craftsmanship and not a substitute for it. No ego. Just good judgment and high output. You’ll thrive here if you… Have strong experience building mobile apps with React Native. Care about craftsmanship, performance and user experience. Take responsibility naturally and don’t wait to be told what to do. Enjoy collaborating closely with design and product. Like being part of an ambitious team working together in the office. Want to build and improve products, not just maintain them. You’re comfortable with things like: React Native and modern TypeScript-based development. Mobile architecture and reusable component design. API integrations (GraphQL or REST). Testing strategies for mobile applications. Shipping real products to real users. A few practical notes Stockholm and we're office-based, because we believe that great products and culture are better built when you meet in person. There is flexibility of course, but you should want to work on site with the rest of us most days of the week. Why Anyfin? Because this is one of those moments where a company is about to level up: Banking license secured, expansion ahead and a lot to build. If you want to be part of a small, high-trust team doing meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you. Apply only if you want the responsibility that comes with real impact.
