Om företaget GKN Aerospace Sweden ingår i GKN Aerospace, som tillverkar motorkomponenter, flygplansstrukturer, kabinfönster, kablage och mycket mer till många av världens flygplan. Företagen i Aerospace-divisionen som arbetar med delar till flygmotorer bildar tillsammans Engines och vid anläggningen i Trollhättan utvecklas och tillverkas avancerade delar till motorer för flygplan och rymdraketer. De arbetar även med motorunderhåll. GKN Aerospace har produktionsanläggningar i Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norge), Mexiko och USA. De har även ett ingenjörskontor i Bangalore, Indien och kontor i Stockholm (Public Affairs) och i Göteborg. Huvudkontoret för Engines ligger i Trollhättan. Dina arbetsuppgifter Inom Governmental Solutions i Trollhättan genomförs omfattande provning av flygmotorer och motorrelaterade system. Verksamheten står inför en spännande utvecklingsfas där befintliga anläggningar moderniseras samtidigt som nya provningsresurser byggs upp för kommande generationer flygmotorsystem. Nu söker vi en mekanikkonstruktör till verksamheten som vill bidra med teknisk kompetens, kreativitet och drivkraft i utvecklingen av provnings- och testanläggningar. Här får du möjligheten att kombinera konstruktion, projektarbete och verksamhetsnära problemlösning i en miljö där teknik och innovation står i centrum. Du blir en del av ett team om 12 ingenjörer som ansvarar för utveckling, förbättring och underhåll av anläggningarna för apparat- och motorprovning. Som mekanikkonstruktör arbetar du med utveckling, förbättring och förvaltning av mekaniska installationer och tekniska system i våra provningsanläggningar. Rollen innebär nära samarbete med kollegor inom flera teknikområden samt med interna och externa kunder. Några av dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter är att: Utveckla och konstruera mekaniska lösningar för apparat- och motorprovningsanläggningar. Ta fram tekniskt underlag såsom 3D-modeller, ritningar och dokumentation i NX och AutoCAD. Delta i investeringsprojekt, förbättringsinitiativ och tekniska uppdrag med ansvar för tid, kostnad och kvalitet. Du kommer att arbeta både från kontoret och ute i verksamheten, vilket ger god förståelse för hur konstruktionerna används i praktiken och möjlighet att följa lösningar hela vägen från idé till färdig installation. Din profil Krav för tjänsten: Högskole- eller civilingenjörsutbildning inom maskinteknik, produktutveckling eller motsvarande kompetens förvärvad genom erfarenhet. Några års erfarenhet som mekanikkonstruktör samt praktisk erfarenhet av CADkonstruktion i NX och/eller AutoCAD. Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift. Förmåga att arbeta strukturerat och metodiskt med fokus på kvalitet och säkerhet. Ett genuint tekniskt intresse och vilja att utveckla och förbättra tekniska lösningar. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av: Underhållsarbete inom industriella anläggningar. Teknisk projektledning eller projektarbete. Provningsutrustning, processindustri eller annan verksamhetsnära teknisk miljö. För att trivas i rollen tror vi att du är nyfiken, lösningsorienterad och initiativtagande. Du har lätt för att samarbeta med olika funktioner och bygger naturligt goda relationer. Samtidigt är du självgående och tar ansvar för att driva dina uppgifter framåt. Befattningen kräver att du genomgår och godkänns enligt vid var tid gällande bestämmelser för säkerhetsskydd. För befattningar där GKN:s kund har krav på säkerhetsklassinplacering kan, i förekommande fall, detta medföra krav på visst medborgarskap. Build the hardware, own the platform At Frost Unmanned, you will be the engineer who turns our fixed-wing UAV from a design into a rugged, field-ready product. You will own the mechanical side of the platform: the structure, the component layout, the integration, and how it performs and holds up in real operations. You will have real influence over design decisions from day one. Frost Unmanned develops sovereign unmanned systems for defense and government customers: high-speed fixed-wing strike UAVs and unmanned surface vessels for maritime and coastal operations.
