Om rollen I rollen som mekanikkonstruktör arbetar du nära våra kunder och utvecklingsteam för att ta fram smarta, hållbara och affärsmässiga konstruktionslösningar. En viktig del i rollen är att fungera som länken mellan design och produktion för att säkerställa att idéer och koncept blir tillverkningsbara och funktionella slutprodukter. Projekten varierar i både omfattning och tekniskt innehåll och sträcker sig över flera branscher och teknikområden. Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter: Arbeta med mekanisk konstruktion i både mindre och större utvecklingsprojekt. Utveckla innovativa tekniska lösningar utifrån kundernas behov och krav. Agera som en viktig länk mellan design och produktion för att optimera konstruktion och tillverkningsbarhet. Ta fram modeller, koncept och konstruktionsunderlag för nya produkter och funktioner. Utföra hållfasthetsberäkningar och tekniska analyser. Välja lämpliga material och tillverkningsmetoder med fokus på kvalitet, funktion och kostnadseffektivitet. Driva och delta i kontinuerligt förbättringsarbete (Continuous Improvement) inom utvecklings- och konstruktionsprocessen. Samarbeta tvärfunktionellt med bland annat elektronik-, hård- och mjukvaruutvecklare, testingenjörer, produktion och projektledare. Delta genom hela utvecklingsprocessen, från idé och koncept till färdig lösning och produktionsstart. För att lyckas i rollen som mekanikkonstruktör ser vi att du har: Minst 5 års erfarenhet av avancerat konstruktionsarbete i Catia och/eller Creo. En Civil- eller högskoleingenjörsexamen inom exempelvis maskinteknik, produktutveckling eller motsvarande erfarenhet. Solid erfarenhet av produktutveckling, teknisk konstruktion och att länka samman designfasen med produktionen. Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift. Det är starkt meriterande om du också har erfarenhet av: Siemens NX Autodesk Inventor AVEVA E3D Personliga egenskaper: Vi söker en mekanikkonstruktör med stark problemlösnings- och analysförmåga som trivs med att utveckla smarta och hållbara tekniska lösningar. Du är självgående, noggrann och initiativrik, med ett driv för förbättringsarbete och stort ansvarstagande. Build the hardware, own the platform At Frost Unmanned, you will be the engineer who turns our fixed-wing UAV from a design into a rugged, field-ready product. You will own the mechanical side of the platform: the structure, the component layout, the integration, and how it performs and holds up in real operations. You will have real influence over design decisions from day one. Frost Unmanned develops sovereign unmanned systems for defense and government customers: high-speed fixed-wing strike UAVs and unmanned surface vessels for maritime and coastal operations. We are a small team in Stora Höga, Stenungsund, moving from development into serial delivery. What you will do Lead CAD design of airframe structures, mechanical assemblies, and component layouts Set the aerodynamic and structural requirements for the platform, and work with our external simulation partners to verify their results Turn simulation data into design decisions on strength, weight, performance, and manufacturability Select, source, and integrate components and subsystems such as propulsion, fuel systems, and payloads.
