Customer Success Manager
Coretura is building the software backbone for the next generation of commercial vehicles - a joint venture between two of the industry's biggest players, moving at scaleup speed. As Customer Success Manager, you'll sit at the center of that relationship, turning shareholder alignment into product momentum. Our Vision & Mission Coretura exists to build a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform that redefines how commercial vehicles are engineered, updated, and monetized - jointly owned by Volvo Group and Daimler Truck, two competitors who are betting that shared infrastructure beats separate roads. Our mission is to deliver a common platform robust enough to serve multiple OEMs, while still giving each shareholder room to differentiate and win in their own markets. This is a company in active build-mode: fast-scaling, still shaping its own structures, and defined by the ambition to make software the center of gravity in trucking. Your Quest Coretura serves two OEM shareholders who are simultaneously its customers, a structural setup that creates constant, real tension: whose priorities get championed first, how do you keep a platform genuinely common when both owners want to differentiate, and what happens when one side's ask risks disadvantaging the other? On top of that, the product itself is still under creation, and that creation often means guiding a broader shift from hardware-centric thinking toward a software-first mindset. We are building the platform and bringing the customers along for the ride at the same time, which makes for a different kind of relationship than you'd have with an established product. This calls for someone who can stay close to the customer commercially and relationally, build a genuine business case for why and how they engage with the platform, set and manage realistic expectations continuously, and be comfortable challenging the customer with integrity and assertiveness, all while never losing sight of the platform's value in the eyes of the customer. This is where the Customer Success Manager comes in. You are the person who holds the customer relationship end-to-end, deeply representing your customer's interests, building the commercial and business rationale for their engagement with the platform, and making sure that rationale is heard by the people who shape the platform. The Customer Success Manager keeps their ears & eyes close to the customer organization, actively owning and driving the customer relationship to ensure a successful SDV platform in its rollout and operation. The Value You Bring You turn a structural relationship into a working partnership, so the customer feels heard, represented, and commercially engaged, not just serviced. You manage expectations proactively around a product that's still being built, keeping the customer aligned and confident even as scope and timelines evolve. You uncover customer needs early and turn them into concrete business opportunities and business cases, for the customer and for Coretura. You catch relationship and expectation risks early, raising them in the right forums before they surface as escalations. You protect the long-term integrity of a shared & common platform while still helping your customer shape the platform’s configuration and build the business case for their distinct value. You re-direct where needed, transparently, to keep the relationship, and the market-leading SDV platform, on solid ground. What It Takes to Succeed in This Role Experience in customer relations or business development, ideally within automotive or commercial vehicles, with strong business and stakeholder management skills. Strong business acumen, able to weigh commercial trade-offs, build compelling business cases, and connect customer needs to Coretura's broader strategic and financial interests. A track record of uncovering customer needs and turning them into business opportunities through creative problem-solving. Comfort helping drive the cultural shift from hardware-centric thinking to a software-first mindset. Comfort operating in multi-stakeholder or joint-venture environments, including governance mechanisms designed for parity between partners. Assertiveness, the ability to set expectations and challenge a customer constructively without jeopardizing the relationship. Comfort operating with ambiguity, given that the platform itself is still being built and requirements will keep evolving. Strong organizational awareness and the ability to build trust across multiple levels of a complex customer organization. Working understanding of software-defined vehicles, or the drive to ramp up quickly. Structured, self-driven way of working, paired with strong communication and negotiation skills. Fluent English; Swedish or additional languages are a plus. Willingness to work regularly on-site at customer locations as well as at Coretura's office in Gothenburg.
