We build the future of consulting."

Engineering Manager (Production Engineering)

Malmö·Mjukvaruutvecklare

Join Telavox as an Engineering Manager We're looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to establish a new function in an environment of rapid growth, someone who can earn trust across engineering teams they don't manage and knows when to add structure and when to stay out of the way. You'll combine hands-on technical credibility with the judgment to know how much rigor a given moment actually needs. If you enjoy building structure for things teams already are working with on their own, working across team boundaries, and helping engineers get better at owning what they ship, this is your opportunity to shape how Telavox runs production. About the job Production Engineering (PE) builds lasting structure around how Telavox runs production: reliability standards, on-call setup, and change/release management. These aren't new topics for us; what's new is the dedicated ownership we're building around them, starting with you. Your role will be to open the ground here, prioritising whichever area you can move fastest on first. You'll work across teams you don't manage day-to-day, building the standards and processes that let engineering teams run production more reliably and change it more safely. Telavox supports operators across the Nordics and globally, and as we bring on more of them, keeping things reliable while we change them safely becomes strategically critical to how we scale. We expect this function to grow into a team over time. Your day-to-day work will include: Mapping today's practices (on-call, incident follow-up, release/change process) and turning what you find into a concrete starter kit or standards Owning the reliability foundation: error-budget accounting, paging, and runbook platforms Shepherding change and release practice, including our operator-facing change interface Working closely with engineering teams and their managers to drive adoption without direct authority over their roadmaps Identifying where AI-assisted tooling can meaningfully reduce toil (e.g., incident/RCA tooling) About you You're comfortable being one of the first names on a small, high-trust function, building credibility through hands-on delivery rather than a large team underneath you from day one. You may come from an SRE, incident management, or production engineering background, or from a release/change management and process background with strong technical grounding. Key skills and experience we're looking for: Experience with production reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, incident management, on-call) and/or change & release management in a live, customer-facing platform Comfortable driving standards and adoption across teams you don't formally manage Confident operating with ambiguity: the structure around this work is still taking shape Solid technical grounding, enough to be credible in incident command or architecture-adjacent conversations Strong communicator, able to work with engineering teams, EMs, and external operator counterparts alike Experience from a SaaS or B2B environment, ideally having felt firsthand where formal change-board processes cause pain or friction Join us at Telavox 💚 Since Telavox's journey started in 2002, we have strengthened our position as the leading forward-thinking communication platform for businesses. As a digital mobile operator, we develop and own our all-in-one communication platform, which integrates telephony, PBX, messaging, meetings, and contact centers, giving businesses a smarter way to connect. Today, we’re a thriving company with 1.9 billion SEK in revenue and 500+ Telavoxers across nine countries. We embrace AI and automation to push the boundaries of business communication. We offer flexible work options and adaptable hours, giving you the freedom to balance life and career while staying connected to our vibrant Telavox culture. Read more about our new HQ in Malmö 🏠! How to apply! At Telavox, we don't focus on fitting in; we focus on making room for everyone. We’re always on the lookout for great talent, so applications are reviewed continuously. QA Manager, Product Growth

Stockholm·Kvalitetschef

You are a QA Manager leading and developing QA within our Product Growth team. You own our QA strategy and how we approach quality across the full growth journey — from acquisition entry points through website, sign-up, payments, subscriptions, and in-app experiences. Your mission is to help Product Growth move faster while improving the quality of what we ship. You look beyond individual features and releases to understand the end-to-end customer journey, focusing QA where it matters most — across experimentation, analytics and tracking, payments, and the different devices, browsers, and in-app browsers our users rely on. You lead and develop our QA team while continuously improving how we work. Through smarter testing strategies, automation, AI, and modern QA practices, you help reduce repetitive manual work, catch more meaningful issues, and enable faster development and release cycles. Please note that we are hiring for this role in Sweden. What you will be doing Own the QA strategy and operating model for Product Growth, defining what we test, how we test it, and where QA effort creates the most value Lead, coach, and develop our QA team, supporting their performance, career development, and growing capabilities in areas such as automation Take an end-to-end view of quality across the growth journey, ensuring we test both individual functionality and how experiences work together across surfaces, browsers, devices, and entry points Improve QA processes and prioritization to shorten the time from idea to launch without compromising quality Drive the adoption of test automation, AI, and modern tooling to make QA more effective and scalable Lead the QA approach for larger cross-pod and cross-functional initiatives, identifying risks early and defining the right testing strategy Partner closely with Product and Engineering, and collaborate with Marketing, Design, Analytics, and other teams when needed to ensure quality across the broader customer journey Build a strong quality mindset across Product Growth, making QA an integrated part of product development rather than a final step before release What skills and experience we think you have QA leadership: Experience leading and developing QA professionals and owning QA strategy, processes, and ways of working Growth product experience: Strong experience testing growth-oriented digital products, including commercial funnels, experimentation/A/B testing, analytics and tracking, conversion journeys, and fast-moving product environments End-to-end quality mindset: You think beyond individual features and understand quality across complete user journeys, including different browsers, devices, entry points, and systems Test automation: Hands-on experience with test automation — whether through implementation, technical evaluation, or close collaboration with automation engineers — strong enough to guide framework and tooling decisions for our stack AI and modern QA practices: Experience using AI and modern QA tooling to improve testing efficiency, effectiveness, or scalability Commercial understanding: Experience with areas such as payments, pricing, subscriptions, or other high-impact commercial flows Strategic and pragmatic thinking: Balances a clear long-term view of where QA needs to go with pragmatic, in-the-moment trade-off calls under time pressure. Risk-based prioritization: Ability to identify where the biggest quality risks lie — including dependencies between features, experiments, and user journeys — and guide the team on where deeper testing or other quality measures deliver the most value. Cross-functional leadership: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, and other partners It's a plus if you also have Experience across both web and mobile apps Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks Experience with subscription-based products Experience working in a regulated or consumer health environment Passion for women's health What we offer Flexible work arrangement - you will be part of a team based in and around Stockholm that values effective collaboration and transparent communication, irrespective of work location Professional development - you will collaborate with industry leading developers, promoting continuous growth and skill enhancement Modern technology - you will leverage innovative technologies and tools, within an environment that empowers you to contribute ideas and take ownership of your work Impactful projects - you will contribute to groundbreaking projects that redefine industry standards and create tangible value Commitment to quality - you will join a dynamic and progressive organization that prioritizes profitable, long-term product development Location We are remote-friendly, but we find great value in being able to connect with our teams in person.
