One of the Nordic region's largest sites where we develop, manufacture, market and sell paint for indoor and outdoor environments for consumers, customers and industry. The business mainly consists of two companies. Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings, a leader in the sale and manufacture of paints and coatings for industrial surface treatment for wood products such as windows, doors, floors, and furniture. Some of the customers are IKEA, Montana, Inwido and Tarkett. The other company Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells paints, varnishes, putty and wood protection products to professional painters and consumers. The portfolio includes the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin and Cuprinol. Join us at our Malmö site as Maintenance Manager, where you will take ownership of daily maintenance performance, develop your team, and drive operational excellence through structured and hands-on leadership. What will you do? As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of plant equipment through structured and efficient maintenance management. The role focuses on delivering stable day-to-day operations by planning and executing maintenance activities that minimize downtime, protect assets, and support production targets. You will lead the maintenance organization with a strong focus on safety, discipline, and performance. Working closely with production, reliability, engineering, and HSE, you ensure that maintenance activities are well coordinated, compliant with standards, and continuously improved. Key Responsibilities · Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities · Ensure timely repairs and maintenance execution to minimize downtime and production losses · Coordinate daily maintenance activities with production and operations teams · Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors · Allocate manpower, shifts, and resources to ensure effective coverage and execution · Conduct performance reviews and identify training and competence development needs · Ensure availability and reliable operation of plant equipment and utilities · Maintain maintenance history, documentation, and records in SAP · Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning activities · Control maintenance costs and manage maintenance budgets · Optimize spare parts usage and ensure availability of critical spares · Ensure compliance with HSE policies, legal requirements, and company standards · Enforce safe work practices, permits, and lockout/tagout procedures This is a permanent position with a start date as soon as possible. You will be based at our site located just outside Malmö, Sweden, and will report directly to the Site Responsible Engineer. Who are you? We are looking for a hands-on and structured maintenance leader with strong technical competence and a clear focus on safety and operational excellence. You are confident in prioritizing maintenance activities, allocating resources, and making practical decisions to keep operations running smoothly. With strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset, you create clarity in daily work, engage your team, and work closely with other functions to achieve stable and efficient plant performance. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (Automation or Mechanical preferred) · 10–15 years of experience in maintenance operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment · Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and managing daily maintenance activities · Hands-on experience with preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance · Strong knowledge of plant equipment, utilities, and maintenance best practices · Ability to plan maintenance work, analyze breakdowns, and control maintenance costs · Strong people-management and team-leadership skills · Good communication and coordination skills across operations, engineering, and HSE · High focus on safety, discipline, and operational excellence · Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required. Swedish is considered an advantage, but is not a requirement. A willingness to learn Swedish over time is highly valued. Site Engineering and Reliability Lead

The Engineering Lead is responsible for providing engineering and reliability guidance and direction to the Helsingborg Site ensuring they are delivering “best-in-class” approaches with respect to all elements of engineering and reliability maintenance practices. This person will actively work by: Supporting strategic decisions related to Helsingborg Site, providing flawless execution knowledge related to capital equipment & deployment of reliability initiatives, point of contact between the Site and the regional Technical Operation organization, and supporting engineering related urgent issues during the execution or manufacturing phases. Direct, guide and provide oversight for the site CapEx portfolio including forecasting, prioritizing budgeting, controlling and reporting of the site capital plan, communicating status and health to site and network stakeholders. Responsible for delivering equipment, capital and automation upgrades and innovation at site through working with regional and global team. Responsible for Standard deployment of capital programs in line with health authority requirements meeting Kenvue compliance and quality standards. Coordinate and develop of Site Master Plan (3-5 years). As site leadership team member develop department annual budgets, monitoring/controlling performance of site. Responsible for 5-7 direct reports and their performance and developments. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree of Engineering (preferable Masters) with functional and people management experience (preferably in OTC/Pharma). Ability to drive engineering operational excellence across the organization with measurable, financial, quality and cycle time results is required- Experience in engineering project management, capital portfolio and installations. Knowledge across corrective, planned and reliability maintenance. Expert in continuous improvement, coot cause problem solving and operation excellence. Proven ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a matrix management environment through effective communication, collaboration and influence. Strong understanding of the asset management and NPI (new product introduction) processes. Fluent in English language – writing, speaking and understanding.
