Din roll som Konstruktör inom stationsgruppen I stationsgruppen är vi konsulter med bred kompetens och varierande uppdrag. Vår huvudsakliga inriktning är kontrollanläggning, där vi bland annat följer regionnätsstationer genom hela processen, från förfrågningsunderlag och konstruktion till idrifttagning, spänningssättning och färdig anläggning. Som konsult hos oss arbetar du bland annat med region- och lokalnätsanläggningar, industrianläggningar, selektivberäkningar och reläskyddsplaner. Du genomför även provning av reläskydd och anläggningar. Vidare är du med och skriver utredningar och förfrågningsunderlag och agerar tekniskt stöd. Våra kunder är bland annat nätägare, industrikunder, batteri- och solcellsparker samt entreprenörer. I rollen arbetar du både från kontoret och ute i fält, vilket innebär periodvis att man är hemifrån under styrda former. Vem är du? Vi söker dig som har flera års erfarenhet av arbete inom station och ställverk eller närliggande områden. Vi ser gärna att du har en relevant högskole- eller yrkeshögskoleutbildning och/eller flera års relevant yrkeserfarenhet, exempelvis som elkraftsingenjör, kontrollanläggningsingenjör, automationsingenjör eller konstruktör inom kontrollanläggning. Du kanske arbetar som ledande montör eller industrielektriker och vill ta nästa steg i karriären. Har du ett intresse för elkraft och vill utvecklas inom konstruktion och kontrollanläggning kan rollen passa dig. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av någon eller några av följande områden: Erfarenhet av mjukvaror, så som konfigureringsprogram för reläskydd Selektivberäkningar Konstruktion av kontrollanläggning Praktisk erfarenhet av provning av kontrollanläggningar och reläskydd God dator- och CAD-vana Du är självgående, engagerad och trivs med att samarbeta med andra. Senior AC Protection and Control Lead Engineer
The opportunity Join a highly skilled engineering team within HVDC Automation and play a key role in delivering advanced AC Protection and Control solutions for large-scale energy projects. In this role, you will lead the technical coordination of protection and control systems from concept to commissioning, working closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and reliable solutions. How You'll Make an Impact Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into robust AC Protection and Control system designs. Define clear and comprehensive technical requirements for engineering partners and sub-suppliers. Lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution. Evaluate supplier quotations and technical solutions to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements. Review and validate protection panel designs, communication interfaces, and system integrations. Ensure protection functions, relay configurations, and settings are fully aligned before Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Coordinate and oversee FAT activities, ensuring quality and compliance with project deliverables. Support installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities through remote or on-site technical guidance. Your Background Proven experience with protection and control systems for MV/HV substations and power transmission projects. Great knowledge of relay protection schemes, including protection, control, measurement, and supervision functions. Familiarity with a wide range of protection relay manufacturers and their applications. Solid understanding of protection panel design principles and industry best practices. Experience with power system studies, grid codes, protection coordination, and system performance requirements. Ability to review, validate, and optimize protection settings and configurations. Experience managing technical suppliers and coordinating engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. The Opportunity Do you want to develop advanced control and protection functions for some of the world's largest power transmission projects? As a Control & Protection Engineer, you will work with the development, configuration, and verification of control and protection applications for HVDC systems. Using graphical programming environments for real-time systems, you will design and implement functionality for control, monitoring, automation, and protection. You will be part of an international engineering team and work closely with system engineers, test engineers, and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle. HVDC Senior Protection Project Engineer
The Opportunity Are you passionate about power systems protection and eager to contribute to the energy transition? We are now looking for an experienced HVDC Protection Project Engineer to join our global HVDC team in Ludvika. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and testing advanced protection systems that enable reliable and efficient transmission of electricity across the world. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver innovative HVDC solutions that support grid stability and sustainable energy development. How You'll Make an Impact Lead and contribute to the specification, design, and engineering of HVDC protection systems for global projects. Perform protection studies including fault calculations, relay coordination, and stability analyses for HVDC converter stations and transmission systems. Develop and review protection philosophies, functional design specifications, logic diagrams, and test procedures. Configure, verify, and validate protection schemes to ensure reliable system performance and compliance with project requirements. Execute and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for protection equipment and systems. Provide technical expertise during commissioning and post-commissioning phases, supporting successful project delivery. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in protection engineering, preferably within HVDC, FACTS, or power transmission systems. Desirable understanding of HVDC technology, converter topologies (VSC and/or LCC), and associated protection principles. Strong knowledge of high voltage substation protection and control systems, including design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of protection schemes for transmission and distribution networks. Experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) settings, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Knowledge of international standards and communication protocols, including IEC 61850 and IEC 60255. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in global, multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
