Professor i medicinsk virologi (med möjlighet till förenad anställning)
Anställning En anställning som professor tills vidare i ämnet medicinsk virologi. Anställningen är placerad vid Institutionen för translationell medicin (ITM). Det finns möjlighet att förena anställningen med klinisk tjänstgöring, vilket beslutas vid tillsättning. Arbetsuppgifter I arbetsuppgifterna ingår forskning, forskarutbildning och undervisning vid fakultetens utbildningar inom ämnet medicinsk virologi. Andra arbetsuppgifter som ingår i en anställning som professor inkluderar viss administration, interna och externa förtroendeuppdrag nationellt och internationellt. Sökanden ska vara beredd att ta ledningsansvar för forskning och utbildning inom ämnesområdet. Den anställde förväntas bedriva sin forskningsverksamhet vid Lunds universitets viruscentrum (LUVC). Detta nyetablerade forskningscentrum möjliggör experimentell virologisk forskning och inkluderar ett integrerat säkerhetslaboratorium på skyddsnivå 3, vilket även möjliggör studier av riskklass 3 luftburna virus. LUVC syftar övergripande till att främja samarbete mellan forskare, sjukvård, industri och samhälle för att öka kunskapen om virussjukdomar och bidra till utvecklingen av nya profylaktiska, terapeutiska och diagnostiska verktyg. En central del av arbetsuppgifterna är att bedriva och utveckla nationellt och internationellt konkurrenskraftig forskning inom experimentell medicinsk virologi, i syfte att bredda och stärka befintlig forskning inom LUVC. Innehavaren förväntas anta uppdraget som forskargruppschef vid ITM med delegerat ansvar inom arbetsmiljö, ekonomi och personal. I det fall förenad anställning blir aktuell ingår tjänstgöring i medicinsk stab vid Region Skåne, Klinisk mikrobiologi med arbetsuppgifter inom undervisning, utvecklingsarbete och virologisk diagnostik. Även andra arbetsuppgifter kan förekomma. Behörighet Behörig att anställas som professor enligt Högskoleförordningen 4 kap 3 § är den som har visat såväl vetenskaplig som pedagogisk skicklighet. Gästprofessor i arkeologi med inriktning mot miljöhumaniora
Institutionen för arkeologi och antikens kultur är en av Skandinaviens största arkeologiska forskningsmiljöer. Institutionen består av sex enheter: Arkeologi, Arkeologiska forskningslaboratoriet (AFL), Osteoarkeologiska forskningslaboratoriet (OFL), Antikens kultur och samhällsliv, Numismatiska forskningsgruppen, och Centrum för Paleogenetik (CPG). Ämne/ämnesbeskrivning Anställningen som gästprofessor är tidsbegränsad till 5 år och innehavaren ska fokusera på forskning (50%) och undervisning (50%) i arkeologi med inriktning mot miljöhumaniora. Anställningen kommer att vara placerad vid Arkeologiska forskningslaboratoriet. Arbetsuppgifter Innehavaren förväntas utveckla och leda institutionens forskning inom miljöhumaniora, samt undervisa och utveckla institutionens kurser och masterprogram i arkeologi med inriktning mot miljöhumaniora, som länkar ihop studier av dåtid, samtid och framtid. I arbetsuppgifterna ingår också att arbeta tvärvetenskapligt med andra ämnesmiljöer vid universitetet, särskilt vid den humanistiska fakulteten. Innehavaren ska särskilt ansvara för koordinering av humaniorakursen inom det tvärvetenskapliga masterprogrammet TRACEE (Master’s Porgramme in Transdisciplinary Studies of Climate, Environment and Energy) som koordineras av det naturvetenskapliga området. Innehavaren av anställningen ska aktivt bidra till ansökningar om externa forskningsmedel, åta sig forskningsledningsuppdrag, ta initiativ till gemensamma projekt och samverkan i publicering, samt bidra till att förvalta och utveckla Institutionens lokala, regionala, nationella och internationella samarbeten. Den pedagogiska skickligheten ska ha visats genom undervisning inom såväl grund- och avancerad nivå som forskarnivå inom miljöhumaniora. Prövningen av pedagogisk skicklighet ska avse såväl planering, genomförande och utvärdering av undervisning, samt handledning och examination. Den pedagogiska skickligheten ska vara väl dokumenterad och på ett sådant sätt att även kvaliteten kan bedömas. Den sökande ska ha en etablerad forskningsprofil inom miljöhumaniora och bedriva egen forskning inom ämnesområdet. Two tenure track positions in Economics
The Department of Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) seeks candidates for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Duties The position as Assistant Professor in clinical research in medical and health sciences primarily involves conducting independent, internationally competitive research within the subject area. The research must be clinically relevant to human health and disease and contribute to increased knowledge in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and care. The successful candidate is expected to actively develop an independent line of research, seek external research funding and contribute to the development of a strong scientific and interprofessional research environment. Duties also include collaboration with researchers within the department, Sahlgrenska Academy, the healthcare sector, and national and international networks. The position primarily involves research, but also includes teaching at first-cycle, second-cycle and doctoral levels. Duties may include lectures, seminars, and the supervision of degree projects and doctoral students. The successful candidate is expected to develop their teaching expertise and gradually take on greater responsibility for the planning, delivery and development of teaching within the subject area. A successful candidate who does not have formal training in academic teaching must undertake such training within one year of taking up the position. For promotion, the candidate must have attained proficiency in spoken and written Swedish at a minimum level of B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) no later than six months before the end of the appointment as Assistant Professor. The University of Gothenburg offers Swedish-language courses, which the successful candidate is required to attend as part of the appointment. All other requirements for promotion set by Sahlgrenska Academy must also be met. Dina arbetsuppgifter Vi söker nu en doktorand inom professor Henrik Greens forskargrupp med fokus på studier kring nya psykoaktiva substanser. Som doktorand kommer du delta i ett projekt med att förbättra detektion, karakterisering och tolkning av nya droger. Projektet kommer troligen omfatta studier av förekomst och trender, kvantitativ analys, farmakologiska effekter samt identifiering av biomarkörer för intoxikation och dödsorsak. Arbetet omfattar analys av kliniska och rättsmedicinska prover med högupplösande masspektrometri, farmakologisk karakterisering av nya psykoaktiva substanser in vitro samt metabolomik och maskininlärning. Som doktorand ägnar du dig åt din forskarutbildning och forskningsprojekt där du ingår. Dina kvalifikationer Behörig till antagning till utbildning på forskarnivå är den som har avlagt examen på avancerad nivå, fullgjort kursfordringar om minst 240 högskolepoäng, varav minst 60 högskolepoäng på avancerad nivå, eller på annat sätt förvärvat i huvudsak likvärdiga kunskaper inom eller utanför landet.
