Universitetslektor i rättsvetenskap
Om arbetsplatsen Juridiska institutionen söker 1 universitetslektor i rättsvetenskap. Vi söker dig med ett starkt forskningsintresse och en stark forskningsprofil, någon som vill vara med och bygga forskningsmiljöer, samt med mycket god förmåga och bred ämneskompetens för att kunna undervisa på svenska och engelska inom ett eller flera centrala rättsområden på juristutbildningen. Biträdande lektor i matematik med inriktning mot tillämpad matematik
Ämnesområde Matematik med inriktning mot tillämpad matematik. Ämnesbeskrivning Grundforskning i matematik motiverad av tillämpningar inom ett eller flera av områdena stokastisk kontroll, optimering under osäkerhet, inversa problem, samt numeriska metoder inom dessa områden. Arbetsuppgifter Forskning och undervisning i ämnesområdet. Under anställning som biträdande lektor kommer merparten av tiden att ägnas åt forskning, med målet att den biträdande lektorn ska etablera sig som en självständig forskare inom det internationella forskarsamhället. Undervisningen kan omfatta kurser i matematik från grund till avancerad nivå, samt handledning av examensarbeten och doktorander. Även viss administration kan ingå i arbetsuppgifterna. Den biträdande lektorn förväntas kunna undervisa på svenska inom fyra år. Vid behov upprättas en språkplan som stöd i samband med anställningen. Senior Lecturer in Textile Technology
The Department of Textile Technology at the Swedish School of Textiles is now seeking a Senior Lecturer in Textile Technology. We have several degree programmes at Bachelor's and Master's levels. The teaching staff often teach in several different programmes and meet students who work with product development in some form. Many students later become employed in the textile industry and appreciate having had teachers with experience in industrial textile product development or production. Your qualifications To be considered for this position, you need to have industrial professional experience in textile product development and/or production of textile products. You are also administratively skilled and have good computer skills. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently, for example by taking responsibility for your own courses or running your own projects from start to finish. You also need to have a doctorate in areas such as industrial design, textile technology, textile or fashion design, materials technology, textile management or other, relevant to the position. In addition, demonstrated teaching expertise is required. Training in teaching and learning in higher education equivalent to 10 weeks of full-time studies, or equivalent competence, is a general requirement for permanent employment as a teacher. Duties The candidate should within the subject area develop and lead internationally prominent research with a focus on crop production develop, strategically lead and participate in teaching at first, second and third cycle level primarily teach within the MSc in Engineering programmes at SLU, but also contribute to other educational components at first, second and third cycle level where the subject is included supervise doctoral students develop and maintain national and international networks with academia, relevant public authorities, industry, organisations and society at large apply for external research funding contribute to the strategic development of the department, faculty and SLU communicate research findings and other relevant information to society at large perform administrative duties within the department, the faculty, and the university Swedish and English are used in parallel at the department. The senior lecturer should be able to perform the majority of their tasks in English. However, as a public authority, the university has Swedish as its main language according to the requirements of the Language Act and the appointee is expected to be able to communicate in Swedish within four years of taking up the position. The department will support the appointee in achieving this. Eligibility The applicant must meet the following qualification requirements: PhD or equivalent scientific competence research expertise in the subject area teaching expertise and ability to integrate research and a scientific approach into teaching good knowledge of English Assessment criteria In the assessment criteria for employment, the primary consideration should be the level of skill required for eligibility for the position. Assessment of the eligible applicant’s suitability for the employment will primarily be based on: completed and ongoing research in the subject area ability to independently initiate and conduct outstanding research ability to obtain external research funding in competition ability of planning, implementation and examination, as well as evaluation of own teaching supervision and examination of doctoral students the ability to integrate research and a scientific approach into teaching and pedagogical practice pedagogic vision and reflection Furthermore, the assessment will consider the applicant’s expertise in: developing and leading activities within academia collaborating with relevant stakeholders and society communicating research findings and development It is advantageous if the applicant has experience in research or development in the field of autonomous field robots. As much attention must be given to the assessment of teaching expertise as to the assessment of research expertise. The position will be offered to the eligible candidate who, following a qualitative comprehensive assessment is deemed to have the best qualifications set to conduct and develop the duties in question, and contribute to the positive development of the organisation. Additional information * Swedish “universitetslektor”, a tenured position approximately equivalent to senior lecturer (UK) or associate professor (US).
