Project Manager - CBRE, Data Centre Solutions We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our specialist Data Centre Solutions team, located in Sweden - Stockholm - Rosersberg, reporting to the Oscar Fristedt Business Unit Head of Projects for Nordics Job Purpose To lead delivery of mechanical, electrical, fabric or construction projects varying in value, following the project management process from cradle to grave (meeting with the customer, developing a scope of works, putting together a tender and delivering the projects on site through to handover). This role will involve one client. The role is managed on site together with already existing project manager and operations. Role Summary: The purpose of the role is to: Deliver projects from start to end. Ensure projects are secured and delivered on time and within the financial requirements and margins as specified by the business. Ensure that all projects adhere and are managed to commercial agreements / contracts. They must comply with statutory regulations, are QHSE compliant and meet technical industry standards General Activities: Ensure the safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence. Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities. Deliver contractual commitments on secured projects. Ensure projects are delivered on all maintenance contracts. Complete projects on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties. Identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project. Maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of subcontractor services. Identify and win project through effective relationships. Deliver supportive business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other applications as appropriate. Promote and maintain the core values of CBRE. Business Development: Plan and develop long term opportunities by creating a pipeline of opportunities. Develop and manage all bids, tenders and proposals. Seek out opportunities to generate projects through innovation and different technologies. Building Relationships: Develop effective relationships with current and potential customers through demonstrating our capability in project delivery solutions. Build strong relationships with supply partners through which we can bring innovation to our customers. Ensure effective solutions which meet quality expectations can be delivered to our customers. Work with operational managers to ensure the collaborative development of the projects business with effective team working and support of colleagues. Compliance: Make certain that their team comply with project management policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety policy across all activities. Regularly audit and review performance. Engage with supply partners in a manner that ensures all risk is appropriately apportioned. Financial management: Development of project financial plans. Financial responsibility for the delivery of the annual projects plan. Produce monthly and ad hoc financial reports for the Head of Projects. Leverage margins on projects by working with subcontractors and suppliers to reduce project costs. Ensure positive cash flow. Chair monthly project reviews with BULs, PM's, Project Support, Finance Manager, Procurement Manager, Health & Safety Manager and Commercial Manager People Management: · All training is carried out on time. Electrical Design Engineer
The opportunity The transition to sustainable energy is accelerating, and HVDC technology plays a vital role in connecting large-scale offshore wind generation to power grids worldwide. To support the growing demand for offshore HVDC solutions, we have established a dedicated engineering organization focused on Automation and Control systems, including Protection & Control, SCADA, HMI, IT/OT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Telecommunications, and Electrical Design. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of some of the world's most advanced HVDC projects. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and integrate electrical solutions across the project lifecycle, from tendering and design through installation and commissioning support. How you´ll make an impact Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including cable block diagrams, cable schedules, circuit diagrams, and related engineering documentation. Support the integration of supplier-delivered systems into the overall HVDC solution. Review, specify, and approve electrical design deliverables from suppliers and engineering partners. Coordinate technical interfaces between suppliers and cross-functional project teams. Contribute technical expertise during tendering, design, and project execution phases. Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities, both remotely and at project sites when required. Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project delivery. Your Background A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education. At least 5 years of experience in electrical design within power systems, substations, HVDC, industrial automation, or related fields. Documented experience using E3. Series CAD for electrical design and documentation. Knowledge of additional electrical design tools such as Engineering Base, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software. Experience with secondary systems design in substations, power transmission, or comparable industries. A solid understanding of electrical equipment, low-voltage control systems, and automation applications. Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, international project environments and communicate fluently in English. HVDC Protection Associate Project Engineer
The Opportunity Are you passionate about power systems protection and eager to contribute to the energy transition? We are now looking for several HVDC Protection Project Engineers to join our global HVDC team in Ludvika. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and testing advanced protection systems that enable reliable and efficient transmission of electricity across the world. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver innovative HVDC solutions that support grid stability and sustainable energy development. How You'll Make an Impact Lead and contribute to the specification, design, and engineering of HVDC protection systems for global projects. Perform protection studies including fault calculations, relay coordination, and stability analyses for HVDC converter stations and transmission systems. Develop and review protection philosophies, functional design specifications, logic diagrams, and test procedures. Configure, verify, and validate protection schemes to ensure reliable system performance and compliance with project requirements. Execute and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for protection equipment and systems. Provide technical expertise during commissioning and post-commissioning phases, supporting successful project delivery. Collaborate closely with project teams, customers, suppliers, and engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges and optimize solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, share knowledge, and mentor less experienced engineers within the organization. Your Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in protection engineering, preferably within HVDC, FACTS, or power transmission systems. Desirable understanding of HVDC technology, converter topologies (VSC and/or LCC), and associated protection principles. Strong knowledge of high voltage substation protection and control systems, including design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of protection schemes for transmission and distribution networks. Experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) settings, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Knowledge of international standards and communication protocols, including IEC 61850 and IEC 60255. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in global, multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. I manage the software department called “Sequence and Interlocking”, which is responsible for providing a safe and reliable operation of the switchgear in a HVDC station. This means we solve interlocking principles, status configurations, automated switching sequences and “ready for” conditions among many other things and we are a vital part of any HVDC station.
